1. Go to utsa.blackboard.com through your mobile or desktop browser.

2. Provide your MYutsa ID and Password.

3. Tap the Blue Login Button to access your UTSA Blackboard account.

4. Once opened, you can navigate to whatever resource or tool you want to make use of.

Student Guide to Online Learning

Student Guide to Online Learning is an open enrollment Blackboard course that aids students in preparing for the new semester.

The course comes with lots of benefits, among them are the latest and improved digital tools, access to roadmaps used by others before you, and also a grab of what to expect in the emerging semester.

In the course, you are going to be provided with 6 modules and each has different tips, activities, and resources to help you get better. To move to the next module, you must have at least an 80 mark while a score of 100 will earn you a badge. There are about 9 badges you can earn in the Student Guide course. Open enrollment into the course usually begins a week before your class starts. This will allow you to get familiar with the Blackboard which will give you an edge to start stronger in the new semester.

How to enroll in to the Student Guide to Online Learning

The student blackboard course can be utilized by all UTSA students to enroll and complete any time. If you are yet to enroll, follow the guides below to enroll and start the course:

1. Start by visiting utsa.edu and click myUTSA in the top menu.

2. Select Blackboard Learn

3. Enter your myUTSA ID and Password. Now, click Login.

4. On the newly opened page, select Courses from the navigation menu and then click Course Catalog in the upper right corner.

5. Go to Browse Categories, and then make use of the drop-down menu to select Open Courses. Once done, click the Go button.

6. Scroll down to reveal the Student Guide to Online Learning. Hover your mouse on TRN-DL-STU-05 and click the dropdown arrow to select Enroll.

Accessing your Blackboard UTSA

Access to utsa blackboard will only be granted after providing your myUTSA and ID and password as already discussed. However, to be able to successfully log into your account, you will need to activate their myUTSA id to access Blackboard.

Activating your myUTSA ID

After applying to UTSA, you will receive a message from myUTSAaccount@utsa.edu. In the message, you will get a link and instructions on how to activate your myUTSA ID account. After you have activated it, you can now use your myUTSA ID and passphrase or password on a supported system including your student portal called “ASAP”

Sometimes, it might happen that you do not receive an activation email, you can contact UTSA One Stop at 210-458-8000. Once done, they can help you resend the activation email after duly confirming that you are exactly who you say you are.

What is ASAP

ASAP is a UTSA student portal that grants you access to your school information and academic records. As a student who is yet to have a place at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Asap is a platform to check your Rowdy Ready status, register for testing, view your academic status, and more.

However, when you are finally offered a letter of admission, it will open up other functions including registering for classes, check grades, make payments, applying for graduation, etc.

The UTSA Mobile App

Aside from being able to use the newly improved UTSA Mobile App for your online learning, it is also a service point for most of the services or resources offered by the school.

The basic features of the utsa mobile app are checking account balance, access to schedule, tests, and assignments set reminders for university events, access courses, class registration for semester, etc.

The app is available for download on Android, IOS, and Windows devices. To download and install the app on your device, simply search for “utsa mobile” from the search field in your application store. Once the result pops up, install the app on your phone or PC.
